Zapaska

"Zapaska" is a group known in Ukrainian circles of admirers of their work, consists of two members: Yana Shpachinskaya (the head of the "CheChe" project and the soloist) and Pavel Nechitaila (the leader of the "Missing Gramota" group). The guys perform their musical compositions in the style of alternative pop music. Tracks are presented in Ukrainian and English.

This team was formed in 2009 at the beginning of winter in Kamenets-Podolsk (Khmelnytsky region).

Its participants met at the "Silver Horseshoe" - this is a festival of author's songs, which took place in 2000, after which Pavel and Yana became good close friends.

The singles of this group were created by mixing musical phrases (Live-looping mode). Thus, at the performances of Nechitailo and Shpachinskaya, the feeling of a fusion of many musical instruments was created. The traditional sounds of a two-row button accordion, guitar, duduk and other things were heard. To date, most of the songs of the "zapaska" group can be downloaded either from their official website or from another resource.

Today the group is very popular, the guys constantly tour throughout Ukraine, take part in various festivals and concerts, in club establishments. In addition to performing in Ukraine, the band also gave concerts in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Every year the number of fans and admirers is only growing.

Spectators and listeners are attracted by the fact that the "Zapaska" collective demonstrates simple and at the same time experimental musical compositions.

2010 was remembered for the project by the fact that they presented their debut mini-collection of musical compositions called EP "LANKA". The duo recorded this album at the professional recording studio in Kiev "Lipki Sound Recording". In the collection of the group "zapaska" there are songs such as "House of Magic Gnomes", "Queen of Leaves", "Proriznaya", "Unexpectedly", "Lullaby". The name of the music collection reflected the principle according to which the group records compositions.

In the summer of 2010, the public had the opportunity to contemplate the debut video for the single "Unexpectedly". In the autumn of the same year, the second video clip entitled "Koliskova" was filmed and released.

If we talk about awards, then the team managed to excel. The group's video clip for the musical composition "Zapitaisya" was recognized as the winner of the International Animation Festival "Anibar", which was held in Kokosovo.

In total, the collective "Zapaska" has released 4 albums: LANKA EP (which included 5 songs), 2010, Translitom EP (consists of 6 songs), 2011, KONTUR LP (18 tracks), 2014, POMALU LP (10 singles ), 2016.

To this day, the members of the group continue to develop in this direction. The listeners of the "Zapaska" project will continue to enjoy the acoustic sound combined with electro-rock. Pavel Nechitailo and Yana Shpachinskaya also promote alternative pop and indie pop.
